Additional Services

As a patient at our facility, your Doctor of physical therapy will use all modalities and treatment methods seen fit at no extra cost to you. We also offer private sessions using these modalities and treatments at a fixed rate, listed below.

NormaTec Recovery System

NormaTec is the leading compression device used for rapid recovery. The goal of the NormaTec is to establish recovery as an integral part of every athlete’s training. It uses compressed air to massage your limbs, mobilize fluid, and speed recovery with the patented NormaTec Pulse Massage Pattern. When you use the systems, you will first experience a pre-inflate cycle, which molds to your exact body shape before the pulse message pattern to ensure the right amount of compression for your body.

The session will then begin by compressing your feet, hands, or upper quad (depending on which attachment you are using). Similar to the kneading and stroking did during a massage, each attachment segment will compress in a pulsing manner and then release.

This will repeat for each attachment segment as the compression pattern works its way up your limb removing toxins and lactic acid to speed up your recovery process. Peristaltic compression is quickly becoming one of the best ways to speed up recovery after a hard training session.

Compex Trainer

Whether you are looking to flush the lactic acid out of those overworked muscles or if you have an injured joint and don't want to miss a strength training session, Compex is your solution. With settings like active recovery for post-workout recovery to flush out muscle after exercise, there is also a strength setting to get a full-strength training workout without affecting nearby joints.

Each program is approximately 25 minutes long. Using sinusoidal wavelength patterns to minimize skin impedance and increase the comfort of delivery, the electrodes of this unit can stimulate muscle fibers without the harmful effects weight training can have on joints, allowing you to continue to stimulate muscle tissue without compromising an injury site.

Manual Therapy

Are you looking to receive the benefits of our skilled manual therapist? You can choose a one-on-one 30 or 60 minutes with one of our highly trained Doctors of physical therapy. During your session, your therapist will decide if you need techniques like Graston, Cupping, deep tissue massage, or other therapeutic techniques.

NEUBIE is NeuFit’s patent-pending device. It is an acronym for “NEURO-BIO-ELECTRIC STIMULATOR.” Combined with our protocols, the NEUBIE can find neurological deficits in the human body with incredible precision. The nervous system controls every muscle movement. If a movement dysfunction is contributing to your pain, keeping you injured, limiting your mobility, or robbing you of performance, then our approach can help you.

PiezoWave

Piezowave, also known as shockwave therapy, is a myofascial acoustic compression technique invented by Richard Wolf. It works by sending pulses throughout the treated tissue to improve the pace of healing and promote its regeneration process, helping your body to work more efficiently in the area. It is a non-surgical treatment that delivers energy impulses targeted to specific damaged tissues within the abnormal tendon.

Blood Flow Restriction

In the last decade, muscle training performed using a combination of low external loads and partial blood flow restriction to the exercising limb has gained increasing interest since it leads to significant gains in muscle strength and muscle mass.

Furthermore, the results indicate that these muscular adaptations rely on a considerable upregulation in myogenic satellite cell number, resulting in nuclear addition to the exercised myofibres.

The results contribute to a better understanding of the physiological mechanisms underlying the gain in muscle strength and muscle mass observed with blood flow-restricted low‐intensity resistance exercise.

Graston & Cupping

Graston Technique is a unique form of soft tissue mobilization using specially designed tools based on Dr. James Cyriax's model of cross-fiber massage to break down collagen cross-links as found in adhesions and scar tissue. Cupping t involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. The suction may facilitate healing with blood flow. This package does not include manual therapy.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is a non-invasive technique that utilizes a therapeutic dose of light to promote cellular healing and decrease inflammation. It provides a more profound, targeted effect that reduces pain and restores the normal range of motion to the dysfunctional area. Therapeutic ultrasound is a treatment modality commonly used in physical therapy. It is used to provide deep heating to soft tissues in the body. These tissues include muscles, tendons, joints, and ligaments.

Rocktape

RockTape can be used both to apply compression to promote recovery or decompression to relieve pain and swelling when applied correctly—by lifting the skin from the tissues below it
